Our client Manchester city council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their South Court & Locality team.
Job description
The position is for a social worker within the court & locality service to work with children who are subject to CIN, CP, pre-proceedings, and court proceedings. You will be based within a team of two advanced practitioners and four social workers, all managed by an experienced team manager.
You will be provided with regular supervision and access to training alongside your peers. Caseloads are manageable with support from advanced practitioners, the team manager and a social work consultant. A weekly service-wide learning morning is held to support you with discrete areas of practice and sharing of good practice.
