We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cambridge that is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time role, offered initially on a 1-year fixed term contract with the strong potential to become permanent. Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities · Deliver inspiring, differentiated lessons to engage and challenge Year 5 pupils. · Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policy. · Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, resilience, and collaboration. · Collaborate with colleagues to plan schemes of work and share best practice. · Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff. · Participate fully in staff meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities. Year 5 Teacher Requirements · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. · Experience teaching at Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5. · Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks. · Excellent communication and organisational skills. · A team player with a commitment to the school’s ethos and values. · Passionate about inspiring and motivating pupils to achieve their best.
