We are supporting a growing engineering organisation delivering complex projects within the nuclear and highly regulated sectors. Due to continued project demand, they are seeking a Process Engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team based in Warrington.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of technically challenging projects across the full project lifecycle, supporting the delivery of process engineering design solutions within a safety‑critical environment.
The successful candidate will support the production of engineering deliverables, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with experienced engineering teams on major nuclear and infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce process engineering deliverables including drawings, reports and calculations to agreed standards of safety, quality, cost and programme.
* Support the development and delivery of process engineering solutions within multidisciplinary project teams.
* Assist with the preparation and development of process discipline documentation.
* Contribute to engineering improvement initiatives and project activities.
* Support process engineering coordination activities across project teams.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory and company standards and procedures.
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, clients and project teams.
* Support technical reviews and engineering documentation activities.
* Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
* BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Process Engineer within the nuclear sector or another highly regulated industry.
* Associate member of IChemE and working towards Chartership.
* Experience supporting the production and development of process engineering documentation.
* Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
* Understanding of process engineering coordination activities and project delivery environments.
