The School of Engineering and Technology (SET) offers a flexible, well‑resourced working environment that delivers research‑informed education in engineering, project management, space, explosive ordnance and capability management. This role will contribute to course and program delivery, development and innovation, and the supervision of students in the UNSW‑Project‑Management‑Programs and the Master of Project Management (Canberra).
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in project management.
* Innovate and refine curriculum for the UNSW‑Project‑Management‑Programs and Master of Project Management.
* Supervise students and contribute to their academic progress.
* Engage with industry partners to enhance teaching and learning.
* Participate in departmental committees and initiatives.
Who You Are
* PhD in project management or a closely related discipline, or a Master’s degree with substantive experience in design and delivery of courses/programs.
* Profound understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practices, with a track record of academic and professional achievement.
* Practical industry experience allowing effective integration of theory and real‑world application.
* Experience in postgraduate and/or undergraduate course development and delivery.
* Demonstrated success in curriculum development and improvement, delivering engaging learning experiences.
* Commitment to mentoring students and junior colleagues, with potential for academic leadership.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues and industry partners.
* Proactive approach to professional development, keeping pace with contemporary trends and pedagogical advances.
