The Opportunity As Head of Finance, you will lead the finance team in managing day-to-day operations and supporting the organisation's senior leadership in delivering financial strategy. You'll oversee forecasting models, reporting, compliance, and process improvement while providing meaningful financial insights to group companies. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll play a key role in shaping strategy, leading transformational change, and supporting integration of new business activities. Key Responsibilities Lead the operational finance function, ensuring robust controls and compliance with legislation and group policies. Develop recharge models, oversee cost centre management, and identify opportunities for revenue growth. Provide commercial and financial insight to support strategic decision-making. Deliver accurate, timely reporting and performance dashboards to senior stakeholders. Drive process improvements, risk mitigation, and governance maturity. Build and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring capability, succession planning, and continuous improvement. Act as key contact for external audits and ensure statutory and regulatory deadlines are met. About You Professional accounting qualification and significant post-qualification experience in industry. Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders. Effective leadership skills, with experience of managing and developing teams. Sound technical knowledge of accounting standards, VAT, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. Resilient, proactive, and adaptable, with a track record of driving change and process improvement. Willingness to travel as required.
