Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – SEN Provision
Location: Basingstoke
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £13.75 per hour
We are seeking caring and committed Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a specialist SEN provision in Basingstoke, supporting pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and additional needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who require tailored support to access education, develop independence, and build essential life skills in a structured and supportive environment.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Assisting with learning activities adapted to individual needs
* Supporting communication, sensory regulation, and engagement
* Encouraging independence and positive behaviour
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
* Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
About You:
* Experience working in a SEN setting is helpful but not essential
* An understanding or interest in autism and learning difficulties
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Backgrounds in education, care, support work, or youth work are welcomed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
