As an inclusive, forward‑thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Technical across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Technical Placement Student to join our Technical Team, based at our site in Scropton, Derbyshire.

Your key responsibilities as a Technical Placement Student will include:
* Assisting the Technical team & Production team with both new and existing product specifications (QAS & Specifications).
* Control of Quality Management System, accurate maintenance, document control revision of procedures and forms.
* Co‑ordination of GMP audits, ensuring all areas are regularly assessed to maintain compliance.
* Submit lab sample data.
* Planning, organisation and communication trials.
* Co‑ordination of sampling.
* Completion of technical information and project work.
What we are looking for:
* A team player but with the ability to work independently and manage your own time.
* Adaptable to varied and changing situations.
* Excellent at communicating with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
* Comfortable getting hands on in a factory environment.
* Driven to achieve results and find solutions.
* On course to achieving a minimum of a 2:2 degree, ideally with a bias in food science degree.
