In September 2025 we began working with Trinity Multi Academy Trust with a view to joining their family of academies. Trinity is a growing and respected trust currently comprising of 11 academies, spanning primary to post-16 education and they have a strong and proud track record of helping schools to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of young people.
It's an exciting time to be part of St Thomas' as we enter this new chapter.
We are now seeking to expand our senior leadership team and wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Assistant Principal. In this role you will:
* strategically lead the direction and development of the academy in accordance with its ethos and vision, and contribute to the management and deployment of all financial and physical resources
* monitor, evaluate and review outcomes in relation to pupil progress
* support the creation and implementation of the academy improvement plan and take sole responsibility for appropriately delegated aspects of it
* provide professional leadership and management of Teaching and Learning throughout the school and support all staff in achieving the priorities and targets which the academy sets for itself.
