Office Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator with a flair for Digital Marketing to join our team. B.L. Acoustics Limited operate within multiple areas of the audio industry but primarily within the Public Address & Voice Alarm sector.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised individual who has proven skills in organisation and customer service. You will liaise directly with our suppliers, customers and engineers. You will also be heavily involved in developing our online presence through our website and social media platforms. You need to be a flexible team player to undertake any duties needed for the smooth running of the office. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday)

Area of Responsibility & Key Activities

· Organising site arrangements & logistics for engineering staff

· Managing incoming calls

· Generating invoices and purchase orders for clients and suppliers

· Monitoring and renewing of office-related services

· Monitoring and control of engineer qualifications & training

· Chasing overdue payments

· Managing the office fleet & insurances

· Implement new internal office processes when required

· Communicating effectively with clients and staff by telephone, email and in person

· Quality monitoring of internal processes and work requests

· Performing customer satisfaction surveys

· Proofreading documents, generating reports

· Update and maintain accreditations

· Assisting with the management of social media platforms

· Ensuring social media platforms are up to date and active (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and X)

· Publishing updates and blog posts on our website

· Engage in dialogues on social media platforms, answering customer questions where appropriate

· Accurately maintaining internal databases

· Assist the office manager

· General office duties

· There will be an opportunity to train further in Quality Management

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)

· Experience in the use of office software (MS Word, Excel, etc.)

· Experience in post authoring for Facebook, X, Instagram and LinkedIn

· Good computer literacy

· Good qualifications in English & Maths

Personal Qualities

· Self-motivated and able to work without full supervision

· Must have a confident and professional manner

· Ability to manage a number of projects at one time

· Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure

· Proactive and willing to assist with any tasks

· Excellent communication skills

· Flexible and adaptable to complete daily tasks

· High standards of accuracy

Job Type:

· Full-time

Required Education:

· Secondary Education

o GSCEs In English and Maths Grade A-C Minimum

o A Levels preferable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year
