Scope of Work
The Senior Offshore Pipelines Engineer will be responsible to produce the following deliverables (Including but not limited to)
* Support to Project Design Basis
* Generate Piping MTO
* Pipeline General Layout Drawings
* Pipeline Section Drawings
* Pipeline Subsea Crossing Details
* Pipeline Specifications (Cleaning Dewatering Drying Nitrogen Inerting)
* Cathodic Protection Philosophy
* Conduct Stress Analysis
* Produce Pipeline Datasheets
* Pipeline Mechanical Design Report
* Construction Execution Report
* GIS Route Maps
* Support to Pipeline Construction Specification
Key Requirements
* Typically holds a Masters Engineering degree (honours or equivalent) in Mechanical Civil Structural Naval Architecture or similar engineering discipline.
* Chartered status preferred must be a member of a Professional Engineering Institution.
* Exposure to FEED / detailed design and EPC projects.
* Strong experience of working for engineering / client organizations in the onshore / offshore oil and gas industry.
* Knowledge of subsea pipelines is also useful.
* Understanding of the fundamentals of pipeline engineering and of regulatory frameworks codes and standards.
* Experience in design and analysis of CO2 and H2 onshore and offshore pipelines in the Low Carbon sector is considered advantageous.
