Your New Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced HR & Payroll Officer to join a close-knit team. This is a permanent role offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to work within a unique global business that operates in the genetics and R&D space.

Your Responsibilities
HR Duties:
1. Provide operational HR support to employees and managers across the business.
2. Manage recruitment and selection processes, including advertising roles, shortlisting, and supporting interviews.
3. Maintain and update HR policies and procedures, ensuringpliance and accessibility.
4. Produce monthly HR reports covering absence, headcount, training, and more.
5. Maintain accurate HR records, both digital and physical.
6. Support annual HR projects.
Payroll Duties:
7. Manage payroll for two business units, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
8. Reconcile payrolls and liaise with finance to ensure correct reporting.
9. Stay up to date with payroll legislation and ensure fullpliance.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
10. Minimum 5 years’ experience operating in a HR role.
11. Understanding of payroll processes.
12. CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
13. Excellent IT skills and confidence using HR & payroll systems.
14. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
15. Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and manage sensitive conversations with professionalism.
