We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Pre-Prep/Junior School Teacher to join our dedicated team. The role is Monday to Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create a positive, caring learning environment for pupils.
* Plan and prepare schemes of work and engaging lesson plans.
* Deliver differentiated teaching tailored to individual pupil needs to ensure progress for all.
* Set and mark pupils' work in line with school policy, both in school and for home study.
* Assess, record, and report on pupil progress, development, and attainment.
* Report concerns regarding pupil progress to the Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher promptly.
* Liaise with the DLU Manager to write and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Communicate pupils' progress to parents through reports and meetings.
* Contribute actively to staff meetings and development of school policies and procedures relating to administration, organisation, and curriculum.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching techniques, resources, and developments, and pursue professional development, including INSET training.
* Participate in the school's Performance Management programme.
* Support the smooth operation of the school by covering for absent colleagues when necessary.
* Maintain high expectations of pupils' work and presentation according to their abilities.
