As a Senior Tax Manager, reporting to the Head of Tax, you'll play a pivotal role in providing tax compliance and advisory services across multiple business units. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to regulatory reporting, and help shape a small but high-impact in-house tax function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tax advice on new business initiatives, projects, and transactions.
* Oversee outsourced corporate tax compliance and review reporting outputs.
* Manage tax provisions and support IFRS, regulatory, and US GAAP reporting.
* Collaborate across the business to proactively manage tax risk.
* Identify process improvements and enhance governance in the tax function.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA).
* Strong UK corporate tax knowledge, ideally in a financial services environment.
* Experience in tax compliance, reporting, and advisory - in-house or practice.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive, collaborative, and curious mindset with a 'can-do' attitude.
