Smile Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust for a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join one of their primary SEND hubs based in Burton upon Trent.

The Role:
* Delivering engaging and tailored lessons in line with existing plans and individual learning plans (ILPs)
* Building strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Ensuring a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment
* Using initiative and resilience to manage behaviours and adapt to pupil needs
* You will be supporting a range of learning needs including ASC, ADHD and Global learning delay.
* Working with a team of specialist teaching assistants and support staff closely to enhance learning opportunities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Proven experience working with SEND pupils in a primary setting
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Initiative, adaptability, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
* A clear, enhanced DBS on the update service
* Minimum of 2 years of referencing including comments on professional interaction with children
* To be able to attend an in-person or online interview if requested
