A lovely new role working for a global household business that owns many beloved brands. They seek an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join their team.
This role reports to the Head of Category Management and oversees key spend areas such as MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend, and Utilities. Candidates with a broad range of indirect category management experience are encouraged to apply.
Role and responsibilities:
* Develop strategies and oversee their delivery, including achieving annualized savings
* Create group-wide category plans to ensure alignment across the organization, leveraging supplier relationships
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders from Directors to the Board, utilizing strong market knowledge
* Build relationships with key stakeholders to monitor supplier performance
* Monitor supplier risk and performance using reporting tools and feedback
* Represent procurement by embodying company values and promoting high standards and relationships
* Ensure strategic projects are delivered effectively, providing excellent service and cost efficiency
Experience and requirements:
* Experience in indirect procurement within large, complex organizations
* Preferred categories include Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics & Operations
* Private sector procurement experience, ideally in a global company
* Experience managing complex global projects with Tier 1 & 2 suppliers
* Confidence in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across regions
* Strategic approach to procurement and supplier management
* Excellent communication skills across diverse cultures and countries
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* MCIPS qualification preferred but not essential
