Management Accountant - Oxfordshire

About the Role
As Management Accountant, you will play a central role in producing accurate and timely financial reports, maintaining financial controls, and supporting operational teams with insightful analysis. You will be part of a collaborative finance team working in a modern facility alongside passionate professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver monthly management accounts and weekly KPI reporting
Manage accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable ledger and weekly payment runs
Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns for HMRC
Monitor budget variances and support cost control initiatives
Provide training on business reporting and KPIs
Liaise with operational staff to resolve supplier invoice issues
Champion process improvements and efficient ways of working
What We Are Looking For
3+ years experience in a Management Accountant role
Strong understanding of financial transactions and reporting
Excellent Excel skills and experience with Sage 200
AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA
Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Experience in a fast-paced SME environment, ideally within automotive or motorsport
