Anderselite are recruiting on behalf of a tier one contractor, for a Managing Quantity Surveyor in Leicestershire.
The Project involves the upgrade of key roundabouts and the construction of a new link road, enhancing connectivity and reducing congestion in the area. This is a £40 million infrastructure programme delivered under an NEC Option C contract.
As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the successful commercial delivery of the project. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and oversee all commercial aspects of the scheme, ensuring value for money while maintaining compliance with contractual and financial procedures.
Duties:
Lead and manage all quantity surveying functions on the project
Provide accurate cost advice and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure contract compliance and manage change control under NEC Option C
Liaise closely with operational teams, clients, and supply chain partners
Manage procurement and subcontract packages
Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team
Maintain strong commercial governance and risk management
