What You’ll Do
* Follow specified cooking and preparation methods to maintain high production and service standards.
* Complete all production documentation (e.g., temperature records) to comply with hygiene, health & safety, and food safety regulations.
* Monitor production and wastage according to daily modis sheets.
* Deliver ward order requests as directed and complete all related delivery documentation.
* Accurately collate paperwork for food service forms and numbers.
* Clean service equipment using mechanical dishwashing and hand washing; maintain kitchen cleanliness per safety management standards.
* Report mechanical defects to the duty supervisor and comply with all training requirements, including food safety and health & safety certifications.
* Follow food safety legislation guidelines and complete operational tasks or requests as directed by management.

Desirable
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
* Previous experience in a catering environment
