We are looking for a Stage Automation Technician (Grade 4) to join the National Theatre Stage Team. Based within the Stage department, with an expertise in automation, this role works alongside a senior automation technician on a production to support rehearsals, fit ups, technical rehearsals, performances and get outs. This role works across all three theatres depending on a productions automation requirement also contributing to the maintenance and development of the National Theatres automation equipment.
The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following
* Experience with entertainment automation control systems
* Experience as an Automation technician in long running, producing, or touring theatre environments
* Excellent stage craft skills and the ability to work at height using access equipment and PPE such as ladders and work positioning equipment.
* Industry recognised training and certificates such as NRC, IOSHH ABTT awards.
* An excellent working knowledge and experience of theatrical flying techniques.
