Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12) if preferred.
The availability windows show the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We aim to support flexibility, so if your available times are close but not exact to the advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.

About the role
* Availability Window: Sundays 08:00–17:00; Thursdays 16:00–22:00; Saturdays 08:00–17:00 (times may vary by location).
You will be responsible for
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
* Being knowledgeable about products and services within the store.
* Working across service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
* Applying training to ensure safe, effective service and customer care.
* Making customer-centered decisions and delivering in-store routines that meet customer needs.
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
* Being aware of store performance and contributing to service, sales, waste reduction and profitability.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Representing Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.
