We are seeking a proactive and experienced Planned Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage maintenance teams in the delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance. This role ensures compliance with statutory, mandatory, and contractual obligations while maintaining the health and resilience of critical building systems.
What you'll do:
* Oversee the execution of planned and reactive maintenance tasks in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Manage task scheduling, resource allocation, and ensure completion to agreed standards.
* Monitor and report on the performance and resilience of critical building systems.
* Become Authorised Person (AP) status in one or more of the following disciplines:
o Pressure Systems
o Confined Spaces
o Working at Height
* Issue and control permits in line with Health & Safety and contractual guidelines.
* Apply and maintain appropriate Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) as required.
* Promote and maintain strong Health & Safety and environmental standards across all tasks.
* Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings.
* Participate in the on-call rota and respond promptly to site call-outs as needed.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Demonstrable experience in FM/building services environments.
* Mechanical bias is highly preferred
* Strong working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and critical infrastructure.
* Health & Safety qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.
* Proven experience supervising and developing teams (2 or more direct reports).
* City & Guilds Level 2 / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
* AP qualifications (ideally aligned to JSP375 standards).
