Hunts Recruitment is seekinga Registered Manager for a children's home in Southampton- Hampshire.The home is located approximately 20 minute drive from Southampton Central.
- Job Title: Registered Home Manager- Salary: £44,000 per annum - to be reviewed after probation- Location: Southampton- You will ideally hold a full UK drivers license
The role:You will be working within a residential home for 4 primary school age children with Autism, communication difficulties, trauma, learning disabilities & mild challenging behaviour
1. You will offer leadership and management to a diverse residential care team which strives towards excellence in residential childcare provision, in keeping with the aims and objectives of the home's statement of purpose.
2. To manage and provide a safe, warm, caring and stable environment for the children and young people in your care, and to create a 'respectful' culture and ethos within the home.
3. Leading and motivating your team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided alongside all agencies and families, understanding the needs of the children and young people to ensure all staff are to work with them to ensure positive outcomes.
4. Manage an effective workforce strategy, including safe rota recruitment, induction, supervision, and professional development.
