Job Title: Financial Support Role at Sofina Foods

The holder of this role will deliver comprehensive support to the Site Financial Controller and Head of Operations, assisting them in growing and developing the Scunthorpe sites through designing and maintaining a robust financial control environment, as well as providing timely operational reporting and analysis, including departmental yield and labour reporting.

Key to the success of this role will be providing accurate and timely management information to enable the site management team and key business partners to maximize growth and efficiency opportunities. Involvement in developing, implementing, and continuously improving reporting cycles will be a priority. This role will support the Operations team and departmental managers daily.


Salary Range

£23,000 - £27,000 per year

Key Accountabilities

1. Support the site finance controller with daily, weekly, and monthly group reporting, including preparing and providing insights into the monthly site Continuous Improvement (CI) pack.
2. Produce and analyze departmental management information, including daily/weekly reporting of financial and operational KPIs, departmental yield, and labour reports, supporting weekly management reviews.
3. Develop management reporting processes to align departmental and financial targets across all operational levels, including daily KPI tracking for site management meetings.
4. Continuously improve finance and operational reporting cycles and support cost reduction initiatives.
5. Design and deliver analysis and reporting for Transport and Coldstore costs.


Skills and Experience Required

1. Experience with SAP, Anaplan, Hellenic preferred/ideal.
2. Good educational background with a willingness to pursue a professional finance qualification.
3. Proven ability to manage tasks/projects successfully to completion.
4. Strong computer literacy, especially in Excel and analytical skills.
