Role
As a Senior Project Manager in Leicester, you will oversee the delivery of major industrial and logistics projects, taking responsibility for project leadership from inception through to completion. You’ll be instrumental in planning, stakeholder management, programme delivery, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety and quality standards.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll provide mentorship and leadership, helping to develop capability and maintain the company’s reputation for technical excellence and client service.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager in Leicester, your responsibilities will include:
* Lead the delivery of large-scale industrial and logistics construction projects across healthcare, education, commercial and heritage sectors.
* Manage project teams and oversee all aspects of project planning, design and procurement to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Chair client and stakeholder meetings, maintaining clear communication and issue resolution.
* Oversee project budgets, programmes and risk management.
* Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, ISO standards, health & safety regulations and quality control procedures.
* Manage NEC and JCT contract delivery
* Oversee cost planning and value engineering processes
* Support business development activities, including bid preparation, proposals and client presentations.
* Mentor and develop junior and mid-level project managers, fostering a high-performance team culture.
* Collaborate with cost consultancy and design teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
* Report project progress, commercial performance and client satisfaction to senior leadership.
* Contribute to business strategy, resource planning, and operational improvements within the project management division.
Person
To succeed as a Senior Project Manager in Leicester, you will bring extensive experience working within a construction consultancy environment with a clear passion for project management.
* Significant experience in industrial and logistics construction projects.
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
* Delivery-focused with strong commercial awareness and practical, solution-oriented thinking.
* Familiarity with NEC, JCT, or other construction contracts.
* Degree in Construction Management or Project Management highly desirable.
* Full UK driving licence essential for site visits across Leicester and the East Midlands.
* Comfortable on-site presence while balancing client engagement and project oversight.
* Ambitious, forward-thinking, and motivated to build a personal brand and network within the sector.
* Strong commercial awareness and practical, solution-oriented approach.
* Team player who can push the project management function forward while fostering collaboration.
