Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Trainee Accountant on behalf of our client who are based the East Leeds area. You will be working for a great, well-established company who offer excellent training and support as well as long-term progression.
The successful person will be switched-on, eager to learn and be interested in a career in accounts and finance. The client are open to looking at graduates or candidates with no previous finance experience who want to kick-start a career in this area.
The role:
1. Daily cashbook postings and bank reconciliations.
2. Preparing & posting journals.
3. Credit card analysis.
4. Monthly staff expenses review.
5. Raising sales invoices.
6. Assistance with purchase ledger.
7. Intercompany reconciliations.
You must have:
8. Brilliant communication skills
9. An interest in finance/accounts
10. An eagerness to learn
11. Strong Excel skills
