£50,000 - £55,000 + Contributory Pension + Private Healthcare (Vitality)
Hybrid – 3 days in office (Central Birmingham)
James Adams is recruiting on behalf of a professional regulatory body for an Investigations Manager to join their established Investigations & Enforcement team.
This role will support the Head of Investigations and lead a small team responsible for managing complex cases of potential misconduct, fraud, or irregular activity. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all investigations are delivered to high professional standards and in line with KPIs, providing oversight, guidance, and mentoring to an experienced team of specialists.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a regulated environment, and will bring a strong track record of leading investigations or compliance teams. You’ll need to be confident reviewing case files, briefing senior stakeholders, and ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory and evidential standards.
Key Requirements:
* Experience managing or supporting investigations into fraud, misconduct, or regulatory breaches
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
* Proven ability to lead and develop investigation specialists
* Experience in a regulated or professional standards organisation or experience working in legal or financial services.
