About the Role
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering creative and effective lessons.
- Provide targeted help for individuals and small groups, ensuring every child can access learning.
- Assist with classroom management, preparation of resources, and learning displays.
- Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work in partnership with staff, parents, and specialists to meet the needs of all learners.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children aged 5–7 (or in a similar setting).
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Can adapt to different situations and respond positively to challenges.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Holds (or is willing to work towards) a relevant TA qualification.
