We’re currently seeking a commercially focused and RICS Registered Valuer to join a thriving and supportive valuation team based in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Surveyor or Associate-level professional with 2–3 years post-qualification experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and growing environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse range of Red Book valuations, rent reviews, and lease renewals across commercial properties—including offices, industrial, and retail—throughout the South East, with a focus on Sussex. Key Responsibilities Undertake property valuations for a wide range of purposes, including secured lending. Manage rent reviews and lease renewals on various commercial assets. Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, while actively contributing to new business development. Support junior surveyors and graduates as part of a mentoring culture. Ensure high standards of reporting, client communication, and technical compliance. Collaborate with colleagues across valuation, lease advisory, rating, and other professional disciplines. What You’ll Need MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status. A minimum of 2–3 years PQE in commercial valuation and lease advisory. Strong knowledge of valuation standards (e.g. RICS Red Book) and relevant property legislation. Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Experience in preparing clear, accurate, and well-structured valuation reports. Commercial awareness and a drive for business development.
