About the role
:
1. The 1-1 classroom assistant will be supporting young people with Special educational need’s and/or disabilities on a one-to-one basis and in small classes.
2. Supporting students with their learning and emotional and mental wellbeing.
3. Following the guidance of the teacher but knowing the student well enough to support them independently.
4. Working Monday to Friday 35 hours a week (term time only)
5. Working term time only for the full academic year

About you:
10. A relevant Level 3 Qualification such as Children and Young People's Workforce, Sporting qualifications and more is desired but not required.
11. Able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check on the update service*
12. Experience working with children with SEND.
13. A non-judgmental and caring approach.
