National Performing Academy is a vibrant and growing performing arts school for auditioned students aged 9–16. We provide high-quality training in acting, singing, and dance, preparing young people for the stage while building their confidence and creativity.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Singing Teacher / Musical Director to join our team. You will lead vocal classes during term-time Saturdays, guide students through ensemble and solo singing, and support the musical preparation of full-scale academy productions.
Responsibilities
* Teach singing technique, repertoire, and performance skills
* Prepare students for shows and showcases
* Provide vocal coaching in both ensemble and solo contexts
* Collaborate with the directing/choreography team on productions
* Inspire students to develop confidence and musicality
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong vocal technique and piano/MD skills
* Experience teaching young people (ages 9–16)
* Ability to lead engaging, structured classes
* Knowledge of musical theatre repertoire
* Excellent communication and organisational skills

Schedule
* Saturdays, until 11th December, 1:00 pm–4:00 pm
This position involves working directly with children and is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
