You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the finance function for 2 entities. You will manage and develop internal processes creating efficiencies with support of a finance assistant.
Reporting directly into the operations director, duties will include:
1. Responsible for preparing the monthly accounts for 2 key entities and further expansion planned.
2. Prepare and develop the board pack to create accountability and visibility for departmental heads to aid with decision making.
3. Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual budget.
4. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Posting month end journals such as accruals, prepayments, and inter-company recharges.
6. Prepare monthly VAT returns.
7. Develop and improve the accounts process.
8. Operate as part of the management team
Key experience and attributes -
9. Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
10. Possess strong communications skills, both written and verbal
11. An individual with a positive attitude.
12. Someone with good attention to detail
13. Able to use own initiative and proactively identify areas for improvement.
14. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
15. Xero experience
