7.45am - 6.00pm
Monday to Friday of every half term and 5 weeks of the summer holidays
(Excluding Christmas and Bank Holidays)
Job Description:
* Managing the day-to-day running of the Holiday Club, including setting up and clearing up.
* Preparing Breakfast, snack, lunch, drinks, and tea in line with club's Healthy Eating Policy.
* Supervising children that have allergies and medical making sure their needs are met.
* Supervising play opportunities with children.
* Supervising and supporting Play Workers.
* To promote the high standards of the club at all times to parents, staff and visitors.
* Contributing towards planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these.
* To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, good practice, club policies and procedures.
* Liaising with school staff on times and working closely with Simply out of School head office
The successful candidate will be a lively, enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is able to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative. They must be able to get on well with, and respect all children and adults, must be prepared to 'muck-in' with all tasks and must have a good understanding of safety awareness and risk assessment. They must be willing to undergo relevant initial and on-going training and DBS checks.
Qualifications:
A Level 3 qualification in Playwork or CCLD is essential.
Current First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage..
Two references will be required at interview stage.
