Finance Assistant | Bradford | up to £30k Your new company Hays are currently working with a reputable solicitors firm in Bradford City Centre to hire a Finance Assistant to their long-established Finance department. They are looking for someone with a strong transactional background and looking to develop a long and successful career in a business that invests in you. The role does require 5 days on site. Your Key Responsibilities & Duties: Assisting monthly management accounts including accruals, pre-payments & journals Balance sheet reconciliation Maintenance of fixed assets & preparing depreciation schedules Quarterly VAT return Overhead / Variance analysis Sending month-end reports to partners Residual balances Bank recs Posting petty cash and reconciliation Input purchase ledgers to the system Ensure client transactions comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules What you'll need to succeed Proven experience working within an accounts function Ideally from a Practice, Legal, Professional Services background Advanced Excel skills What you'll get in return Upto £30k salary Study support if desired 25 days annual leave BH What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
