Role Description
The role is suitable for either a fully trained, qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a hands-on approach, capable of designing electrical control systems and building prototype panels for the control of the vehicle wash systems. Ability to produce PLC programs is desirable.
The company would also consider a less experienced but highly motivated individual willing to learn and train quickly under the guidance of the current Technical Manager. Such an individual must have the minimum experience as outlined below.
The offered salary is commensurate to the candidates ability.
Minimum Requirements
* Conversant with BS th Edition - IET Wiring Regulations
* Test & Inspection 2391 or 2394 and 2395 Preferable but not essential
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Ability to diagnose and fix problems from root cause
* Must be able to work alone or in a team
* Full driving licence – Essential
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and online platforms
* Attend sites for breakdowns and Installations, working with the site Engineers.
deal Candidate
* Knowledge & Experience of PLC programming - preferably Modicon eco structure
* Competence in CAD software – Draftsite/AutoCAD
* Ability to produce Electrical Schematic & Panel build drawings
* Experience in maintenance of MRP systems
* Direct experience in design and build of control panels
* Experience in the design and build of prototype machinery
* Project management experience producing high quality design solutions and realising such solutions to budget and timescale
* Excellent customer and supplier communication skills
Package
Salary dependant on experience £30,000 - £55,000
38 hours per week office based in Alcester, Warwickshire
