Experienced Conveyancer (Residential Property)
Location: North East (Durham / Sunderland) – office-based with flexibility
Salary: Competitive + benefits (DOE)
A well-established, highly regarded North East law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Property team. This is a proper “good desk, good people, plenty of work” opportunity – ideal if you want stability, support, and a sensible caseload.
The role
You’ll run your own files from start to finish, handling a mix of residential conveyancing matters, including:
1. Sales and purchases (freehold/leasehold)
2. Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
3. New-build and shared ownership (if you’ve done it – not essential)
4. Liaising with clients, agents and lenders to keep matters moving
What they’re looking for
5. An experienced Conveyancer (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner)
6. Confident managing files with minimal supervision
7. Strong client care and a practical, solutions-focused approach
8. Comfortable working in a team environment and supporting colleagues when needed
