Qualifications:

Position Responsibilities:

1. Act as QA MRB (Material Review Board) Delegates.
2. Perform final inspections of precision machined components using various inspection methods (including CMM, Micrometers, Gauges, etc.).
3. Provide feedback on the inspection process to Quality Technicians and Quality Engineers.
4. Review work instructions for completeness.
5. Perform in-process inspections to support manufacturing (e.g., hole check or on-machine runout check).
6. Participate in problem-solving events when requested.
7. Reject defective parts as required.
8. Note discrepant conditions of products in line with reporting standards.
9. Process quality records according to procedures to maintain accountability, acceptance, and status.
10. Maintain personal and equipment certifications as required.
11. Work safely within the site Health and Safety management system.
12. Assist other employees with functions, methods, and procedures by sharing information and answering questions.
13. Contact team leaders or supervisors when assistance is needed.
14. Consult with management or others (e.g., production or engineering) on process or job-related issues.
15. Work as part of a team, giving and receiving feedback, assisting others, and providing on-the-job training.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with strong time management skills.
2. Conscientiousness with close attention to detail at every step.
3. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
4. Experience as a Quality Inspector or in using inspection equipment and processes.
5. Solid understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in a precision machined engineering environment.

Typical Education/Experience:

BTEC / HNC in Mechanical Engineering.

Shift:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite, initially on day shift for training, then rotating morning/afternoon shifts bi-weekly.

Work Authorization:

This is a UK-based position. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work in the UK. Boeing will not sponsor immigration or labor visas.
