Langley has a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and passionate Care Contracts Manager with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our Care team in Coventry. This role is a permanent full-time position, working37 hoursper week, and offers hybrid working. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £37,711 per annum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Taking ownership of the contractual relationships with funding bodies underpinning Langleys services. Build strong working relationships with financial decision makers in funding bodies to support Langleys engagement with funding bodies on commercial issues.
* Leading engagement with funding bodies to ensure that Langley is appropriately funded for the care packages it is contracted to deliver.
* Overseeing Langleys database of care contracts. Where contracts are missing or do not contain appropriate terms to protect Langleys interests take a pragmatic approach to rectifying the situation where appropriate and feasible.
* Working with the Care Team, Operations, and the Finance Team to ensure that the cost model is used to appropriately evaluate the costs of providing care packages to Langley clients to underpin negotiations with funding bodies.
* Reviewing and approving contracts for new or updated care packages to ensure that the terms are appropriate and include suitable commercial protections for Langley. Provide pragmatic leadership in negotiating these terms with funding bodies. In particular ensure that there are mechanisms for Langley to revise charges in line with future changes in its costs.
Candidates will ideally have the following experience:
* Experience of the commercial aspects of funding of social care services.
* Experience of how local authorities work with social care providers.
* Experience of managing contractual relationships.
* Experience within the Charity / Non-profit Sector
