Responsibilities

Main responsibilities will include:

* Preparing self‑assessment tax returns
* Preparing CT600's
* Deal with clients by email, phone and in person
* Correspond with/call HMRC on behalf of clients
* Assist with the preparation of P11D forms
* Support management with ad hoc work
* Ensure that all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly supportive team who will help you develop your tax knowledge and experience. The firm offers hybrid working and study support towards the ATT/CTA (or similar) qualification. The ideal candidate will currently be working as a Tax Assistant / Tax Trainee or Tax Junior.


Education and Experience

* At least five GCSEs grade 4-9 with a grade 6 or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
* At least three A levels at a minimum grade C or equivalent.
* You’ll also need to have competent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
* You must be able to live and work permanently in the UK.

* Deliver accurate work to deadlines
* Demonstrate a commitment to delivering a first‑class service to clients
* Work as part of a team
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Demonstrate good time management skills including prioritising
* A driving licence and access to transport is beneficial
