We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
* Assist in the preparation of meals, demonstrating cooking techniques and sharing culinary knowledge with team members.
* Maintain a positive working environment that fosters creativity and collaboration among the kitchen staff.
* Handle any customer inquiries or complaints related to food service in a professional manner.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail in both taste and presentation.

Food service times (tapas, al a carte) Monday to Saturday 12-8pm and Sunday roasts 12-5pm.
