Secondary Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Secondary Schools in Bristol
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £90 - £110 per day PAYE

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a range of supportive secondary schools across Bristol, looking to recruit dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This role is ideal for individuals with school-based experience and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
About the Role As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects. You will work with students in whole-class settings, small groups, and occasionally on a one-to-one basis, helping to reinforce learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.
Your responsibilities will include: * Supporting students in lessons to ensure they remain engaged and on task. * Assisting the class teacher with preparation of learning materials and classroom activities. * Delivering small group interventions to support progress. * Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. * Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and participation. * Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
These are full-time roles available for an immediate start, offering the opportunity to work within welcoming and well-established secondary schools across Bristol.
About You To be considered for this position, you must: * Have previous experience working within a secondary school or education setting. * Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Be proactive, adaptable, and confident supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5). * Have good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
