Male Support Worker Location - Wistaston £12.60 per hour Role Description – Male Support Worker Gray Healthcare are recruiting a Male Support Worker within the Crewe area to support a gentleman in their 30's who has a diagnosis of Learning Disabilities, Autism and Epilepsy. He lives independently in his own home receiving 2:1 support 24 hours a day. The gentleman we support has a good sense of humour, enjoys going out in the car, and going bowling. He is supported by a male only team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights. We are recruiting drivers only for this role as the individual we support will have a mobility vehicle to access the community. Male Support Worker Required Skills and Experience * Social care experience, ideally within Autism and Epilepsy * Full Automatic Driving License ESSENTIAL * Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities. * Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging. * Experience implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments. * You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months.
