Treasurer – K-C & Suzano Joint Venture

This role is part of Kimberly‑Clark’s International Family Care and Professional (IFP) business and will be transferred to the new joint venture with Suzano once the transaction closes in mid‑2026.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Treasurer to lead the treasury function of the new joint venture between Kimberly‑Clark and Suzano. Based in London, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the JV and with Suzano’s Treasury leadership in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities
* Liquidity & Cash Management
Lead the Joint Venture’s In‑House Bank (IHB), oversee multi‑currency cash pooling, manage daily liquidity and short‑term forecasting, and optimize internal funding to minimize idle cash.
* Banking & Treasury Operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with global banking partners, oversee bank account structure, negotiate competitive terms, and ensure cost‑effective banking solutions.
* FX Risk & Balance Sheet Management
Identify and manage foreign exchange exposures, design and execute hedging strategies with Suzano, and monitor key financial metrics to maintain a healthy balance sheet.
* Working Capital Optimization
Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain on initiatives such as supply‑chain finance programs, dynamic discounting, and receivables financing to improve cash conversion cycles.
* Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Governance
Serve as a liaison across Treasury, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams, ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements, and support strategic initiatives including cash repatriation and capital structure planning.
Qualifications
* 10+ years in Treasury or Corporate Finance within multinational environments.
* MBA or certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CTP (preferred).
* Proven experience in liquidity management, FX risk, and banking structures.
* Background in global organisations or joint ventures (strongly preferred).
* Strong knowledge of treasury systems (Quantum preferred) and ERP (SAP).
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross‑functionally.
* Experience leading or mentoring treasury/finance teams.
* Fluency in English (required); Portuguese is a strong advantage.
