Ocean Import Coordinator
Location: Manchester
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 DOE
We are recruiting for a well-established international freight forwarding company and are looking for an experienced Ocean Import Operatorto join our Manchester team. This is a hands-on, start-to-finish import role managing sea freight shipments (LCL & FCL) with full operational ownership.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the complete import process via sea freight, including Less than Container Loads (LCL) and Full Container Loads (FCL).
2. Take responsibility for pricing, quoting, and providing competitive solutions to customers.
3. Liaise and negotiate with overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers, and internal teams.
4. Track shipments, update clients on progress, and resolve operational issues promptly.
5. Complete import customs declarations via CDS and ensure compliance with all import regulations.
