We are currently working with an exceptional credit fund seeking a High Yield Credit Analyst to join their growing team as they enter a period of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth fundamental credit analysis on a wide range of corporate issuers across multiple sectors.
* Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support investment recommendations.
* Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in both long and short positions within the credit markets.
* Monitor and analyse market trends, economic indicators, and credit events to inform investment decisions.
* Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to develop and execute investment strategies.
* Present investment ideas and research findings to the investment committee and senior management.
* Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics impacting credit markets.
1. Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in Credit Analysis, Credit Research, Leveraged Finance, M&A, or related field.
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to dissect complex credit structures.
* In-depth knowledge of credit markets, including high yield, investment grade, and distressed.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment theses clearly and concisely.
* Self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred; CFA is a plus.
