KSB Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our client, an independent, family-run restaurant undergoing an exciting refurbishment in the heart of Leicestershire.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business as it prepares for its refreshed reopening. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the guest experience and supporting both front-of-house and kitchen operations. You will oversee a team of 28 staff, ensuring smooth daily service and maintaining the highest standards once the restaurant reopens.

Competitive salary of £28,000£30,000 per year, plus an annual bonus
40-hour working week with alternate weekends off

Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service
Support recruitment and onboarding for new team members ahead of reopening
Manage budgeting, stock control, and cost efficiency
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider team to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in a management or supervisory role within a busy restaurant
Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, inspire, and develop a diverse team
