Overview
We are seeking a detail-orientated Workshop Parts Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assembling manufactured components and parts into finished products, following assembly drawings and technical documents. This role involves working as part of a small production line, utilising both hand power tools.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and follow assembly drawings and technical documentation.
* Assemble components and parts with precision to create finished products.
* Perform quality checks in accordance with written procedures.
* Identify and rectify defects during the assemble process.
* Understand and interpret basic wiring diagrams.
* Demonstrate competency in soldering
* Maintain a keen eye for detail throughout all tasks
* Keep the workspace clean, organised and safe
* Work efficiently to meet production timelines
* Show willingness to learn new skills as required
* Drive and deliver goods as needed.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to assembly tasks.
* Previous experience in assembly roles, preferably within a warehouse setting.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
