Service: Disabled Children's Service Mid & East Devon
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Team Manager to provide leadership, support and guidance within our Disabled Children’s Service for our Mid & East Team.
Our Disabled Children’s Service plays a vital role in delivering a broad range of statutory responsibilities to support children throughout their journey. This includes assessments, Child in Need plans, Child Protection, Children in Care, and transition planning into adulthood. We are committed to improving the life chances of disabled children and young people in Devon, working closely and compassionately with families who require additional help or specialist support to care for their children and ensure their safety
About the Role
As a Team Manager within our Disabled Children’s Service, you will join a well-established, dedicated management team committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across Devon. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of partners in health, education, care, and the community to promote integrated planning and deliver the best possible outcomes in partnership with children, young people, and their families.
You will foster a high-performing, supportive team culture by promoting best practice and working proactively to reduce risk. Through reflective supervision, you will champion both personal and professional development, encouraging continuous learning and growth. By building on strengths and embedding restorative practice, you will help drive positive, sustainable outcomes while maintaining high standards of quality and care.
There is a minimum expectation for three days a week in the office.
