This role offers the chance to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults by supporting them to manage their own care through Direct Payments. The Role As part of the Direct Payments Team, you’ll help individuals who choose to manage their own care provision. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively, providing advice, guidance, and practical support to help service users make informed choices and maintain financial control over their care packages. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting and advising Direct Payment users on managing their care, recruitment, and employment of personal assistants. Monitoring financial records, auditing spend, and maintaining accurate data using Microsoft Excel and internal systems. Conducting home visits and liaising with families, social workers, and partner organisations. Promoting awareness of the Direct Payments service and contributing to its ongoing development.
