Our client, a well-established independent estate agency located in an area of St Albans, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their close-knit team.
The client is focused on growing the business and is seeking a proactive person who will be able to manage their existing properties. This role would suit a candidate with at least 12 months of recent experience within Property Management. As a Property Manager, you shall be able to demonstrate a proven track record of problem-solving and excellent customer service levels.
Our client is offering the successful Property Manager:
1. Basic salary of up to £30,000

Responsibilities of the Property Manager:
6. Advising and guiding landlords on the management of their properties
7. Dealing with day to day maintenance issues and undertaking routine inspections for your portfolio
8. Coordinating refurbishment works including obtaining quotes and management of contractors
9. Liaising with tenants and contractors to ensure works are completed to specified time frames
10. Ensuring properties comply with Health & Safety legislation and that statutory obligations are met e.g. gas safety, electrical safety etc
11. Monitoring rental income, arrears control and negotiation of deposit releases
12. Work towards targets to achieve office goals
13. Arranging end of tenancy procedures and ensuring properties are made ready for new tenancies
Requirements of the Property Manager:
14. Experienced in managing residential property (At least 12 months)
15. ARLA Qualified (Preferred but not essential)
16. Understanding of current lettings legislation
17. Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
18. Problem solve effectively
19. High level of customer service skills
20. Good telephone manner and positive attitude
21. Ability to work in a pressurised environment
22. Knowledge of the local area and a close commute to St Albans
23. Full UK driving licence
