Are you an accredited MHE Instructor and looking for a new challenge? Do you have operational warehouse experience and want to share it with others? Would you like the opportunity to help colleagues learn and develop their skills?
We are looking for a full-time permanent MHE Trainer who can support, develop, and deliver all areas of training and development at our BT site in Lutterworth.
Role details
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, with flexibility as needed. The main part of your role will be MHE training; however, when there are no training sessions scheduled, you’ll be expected to support the operation as needed.

Salary up to £30,000 per annum (base salary £24,000 with a £6,000 trainer’s allowance) and 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day
* Ensure your own training accreditations are up-to-date and audit checks are completed to ensure safety instructors are current.
* Train all staff on the relevant MHE and Manual Handling.
* Keep up to date with industry best practice and safety standards to assist the safety and site security manager to build robust safety training plans and support further line of business training requests.
* Ensure the training matrix is updated.
* Build training programmes as required.
What you need to succeed at GXO
* A current MHE trainer qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT) and actively training on a recent basis; consideration will also be given to extensively experienced MHE operators with valid licences who would like to undertake their trainer qualification.
* Previous warehouse experience and holder of Counterbalance, Reach Truck, VNA licences.
* Flexible in approach to meet business needs and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and build strong working relationships at all levels.
